HP Smart Managed Switch

HP 1920 Switch Series

HP 1920 Switch Series consists of advanced smart-managed fixed-configuration Gigabit switches designed for small businesses in an easy-to-administer solution.

By utilizing the latest design in silicon technology, this series is one of the most power efficient in the market. The series has 9 switches: four non-PoE models and five PoE+ models. All models are equipped with additional Gigabit SFP ports for fiber connectivity. The 8-, 24- and 48-port models are available with or without PoE+.

The HP 1920 Switch Series provides a great value and includes features to satisfy even the most advanced small business network. All models support rack mounting or desktop operation. Customizable features include basic Layer 2 features like VLANs and link aggregation, as well as advanced features such as Layer 3 static routing, IPv6, ACLs, and Spanning Tree Protocols. The switches come with a limited lifetime warranty covering the unit, fans, power supplies, as well as 24×7 phone support for the first three years of ownership.

HP 1910 Switch Series

HP 1910 switches are advanced smart managed fixed-configuration Gigabit Ethernet lite Layer 3 switches designed for small businesses looking for key enhanced features in an easy-to-administer solution. The series has eight models: 8-, 16-, 24-, and 48-port 10/100/1000 non-PoE models; and two 8-port and two 24-port 10/100/1000 PoE models.

All switches have additional true Gigabit SFP ports for fiber connectivity. HP 1910 models support rack mounting or desktop operation and use variable-speed fans for quiet operation. The HP 1910 switches operate at full wire-speed IPv6, supporting QoS traffic prioritization and security features such as 802.1X network login, access control lists, and denial-of-service prevention.

Customizable features include VLANs and link aggregation trunking, as well as advanced features such as Layer 3 static routing and Spanning Tree Protocols (STP, RSTP, and MSTP). The HP 1910 switches come with a lifetime warranty covering the unit, fans, and power supplies.

HP PS1810 Switch Series

The HP PS1810 Switch Series consists of smart-managed, fixed-configuration Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2 switches that are purpose built to work with HP ProLiant Gen8 servers. The switches are designed for small businesses looking for an integrated, easy-to-administer switch that complements the HP ProLiant Gen8 Server solution. The series includes 8- and 24-port models.

The 8-port model has an innovative design that allows it to be physically stacked on top of the HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 platform. This switch can be powered by an upstream Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch for deployments where no line power is available. The 24-port model ships with a rack-mount kit for rack deployments and includes SFP ports for fiber uplink connectivity.

Both models have a fanless design, making them ideal for office deployments. Both models support additional flexible mounting options, including wall-mount and under-table mounting. The HP PS1810 Switch Series has a built-in ability to auto-discover and monitor HP ProLiant Gen8 servers.

Monitored ProLiant Gen8 servers report real-time health status to the switch via the HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) interface, enabling an integrated single-pane-of-glass view for switch and server maintenance.

Layer 2 switching features include VLANs, Spanning Tree, and link aggregation trunking. The latest energy-saving capabilities like Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) and idle-port power down are also supported on this series. The PS1810 switch models come with an HP Limited Lifetime warranty.

HP 1820 Switch Series

The HP 1820 Switch Series offers more choice and flexibility for smaller organizations that require ease of use and lower TCO, while delivering better network performance with an enhanced user experience. HP 1820 Switch Series devices are smart-managed, fixed-configuration Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2 switches with basic features in an easy-to-administer solution.

The series includes 8-, 24- and 48-port non-PoE and PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet models. Specific models include SFP ports for fiber connectivity. Some models are fanless, making them ideal for office deployments.

HP 1950 Switch Series

The HP 1950 Switch Series includes five switches: New to the series is a 16-port 10-Gigabit aggregation switch that has 12 10G BASE-T and 4 SFP+ ports, which is ideal as the core of a high performance workgroup or small business network.

Additional series models have Gigabit access ports with 10-Gigabit uplinks, including two standard and two PoE+ models in 24 and 48-port configurations. The access switches each have two 10GBASE-T ports supporting copper-based Category 6A-based cabling, and two 10G SFP+ ports for fiber connectivity.

The PoE+ models both have a PoE power budget of 370W to power up PoE/PoE+ compliant client devices. The HP OfficeConnect 1950 Switch Series has an intuitive Web-based interface for simple customisation of network operation.

It supports true-stacking, the aggregation switch supporting up to two devices, while the access switches allowing up to four devices, to be logically administered as a single entity, simplifying administration while supporting greater network redundancy.

HP 1620 Switch Series

The HP 1620 Gigabit Switch Series is an entry-level, smart-managed switch ideal for small businesses looking for basic network features to enhance network performance but without the added complexity and cost of more advanced switches.

Part of the HPE OfficeConnect portfolio, these switches are plug-and-play out of the box and an intuitive Web GUI provides ease of access to fine tune switch operation, if necessary. The HP 1620 Gigabit Switch Series consists of 8-, 24-, and 48-port models that can be rack mounted. Customizable features include VLANs, IEEE802.1p QoS and IGPM Snooping.
